Active Power Quality Control for Microgrid with Virtual Synchronous Generator Based on Small-signal Stability Analysis

    Abstract:

    In order to improve the utilization rate of power electronic converter of distributed generator and realize the power control of converters, and improve the power quality, this paper proposes an active power quality control strategy for microgrid with virtual synchronous generator based on small-signal stability analysis. Based on the original dual closed-loop controller, a parameterized controller is designed for harmonic suppression, which improves the control performance indices. Firstly, a small-signal model of virtual synchronous generator(VSG)based on the topology of microgrid is established, and the stability in the control process of VSG is analyzed. Secondly, a controller based on robust observer is designed. Taking the minimum tracking error of performance index of power quality as the objective function, the tracking error is solved by the optimization method step by step. Finally, the control strategy is simulated on MATLAB/Simulink. The results show that the proposed method achieves robust control and power quality control of the converter, and has obvious performance improvement.
